To Jakarta I Went

There’s direct flight from Kuching to Jakarta via Airasia, flying only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. My return tickets to and fro was just RM400++, cheaper than flying to KL (RM700++). Furthermore, the flying time to Jakarta is shorter than going to KL.

We planned our holiday according to the available flights. Bought our tickets in October 2008, when the fares were still very low. We flew in on Saturday (24th Jan) night and flew back on Thursday (29th Jan) evening. I had to take 2 days off from work as work starts on 28th itself. Dragged myself from bed to work last Friday. -_____-|| Why no CNY break. huhuhu..

Just few weeks before the departure date, I received an SMS from Airasia saying that our flights were rescheduled from 7+pm to 10+pm. By the time we reached Jakarta, it’s midnight already. Pif >:[

This is me sitting by the window, queuing to board the plane. If you're above 65 years old, you have the privilege to board the plane first.

Don't play play.. Indonesian plane, ok. Fly with Airasia, you get to take picha with the plane. If MAS, you snap from the airport. lol..

Fly with Airasia, you get free seating. Eg: you can opt for "first class" seatings, based on first come first SIT. As for me, I prefer to sit with the wing and must with the window.

Ain't this baby cute? Ang gu gu.. Feels like pinching his cheeks. EKKKKKKK! This baby can cry! The moment they were seated, he started crying and wailing and shouting and crying and wailing and shouting and crying...

Evidence:

Even after we took off, swinging in the air, he was still crying. "Best" of all, on our flight back to Kuching, we board on the same plane...again. We're not tricked with your adorable cute face, we were smart enough to sit faaaaaaaaar away.

Sitting in the plane for approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes, doing nothing, can bore you to death. Especially for a person like me who could not sit still, entertainment is a must! Completed 2 pages of Sudoku and I got extremely bored. Bro, on the other hand, find entertainment in his dreamland. So, I took out my cam and shoot away. They're not blur! There are 3 layers of windows that made the many me reflections effect.

We landed at approximately 11:30pm (Malaysian time), 10:30pm (Jakarta's time). Jakarta is 1 hour behind us. Indirectly, I travel back time. LOL!

We were welcomed by huge biga$$ billboards. Jakarta has lots and lots and lots of billboards! *envy*
