The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Lucky Draw

Some very sleepy mornings, I would drop by Coffee Bean to grab a cup of coffee to go. Many months ago, I was at Coffee Bean. While waiting for my coffee to be ready, I saw this big fishbowl by the counter. It’s a drop-your-namecard for the monthly lucky draw and Win The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf RM50 cash voucher. It looks promising and seems to be an easy win since there were not many name cards in it. So, I dropped my name card into the fishbowl, complete with my email and I.C. number.

Sometime in August, I received an email from my colleagues from the other department, Congratulating me. I had no idea what it was all about until they told me that I won the lucky draw from Coffee Been. They stumble upon Coffee Bean’s site and saw my name in the July’s lucky draw namelist while doing some  research.

Someone please tell me if the above is the list of names who won the lucky draw OR list of names valid for the lucky draw.

Since the title of the “banner”/”poster” stated July winners, so I ASSUME it’s the list of names who won the lucky draw.

Initially, they would email the winners but I didn’t received any. So, I emailed them and waited and waited, but NO REPLY after many weeks.

When I went to  Coffeebean for coffee, I asked about the lucky draw and how the winners will be informed – they replied EMAIL. So, I told them about my situation and they were “stoned” for a moment. They asked for my number and said that they will check on it for me.

I waited for days and weeks again, yet to no avail.

Long story short, I still haven’t got my lucky prize from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Anyway, I’m going to Coffee Bean for lunch now. After waiting for months, they either forgotten about it or never checked on it. Either way, I’m going with thick skin to ask on the progress of my “lost” prize.

I’m not trying to be a despo here okay.. Since they announced and published the names of the winners on their site (which cannot be found from the Internet anymore), I have the right to claim for it, right?

They should at least email or contact in anyway to keep people from waiting and scratch head and perasan and shiok sendiri here. At least some information on how we could redeem the voucher OR where to print it or something. Right right right?? What sort of impression are they giving har har har?? At least inform people mah..
