THE CLUB, Riverside Majestic Hotel

Last week, I received an invitation to attend a cocktail reception at THE CLUB, Riverside Majestic Hotel. Many thanks to Eileen for  extending the invitation to the fellow bloggers .

THE CLUB is the new lobby lounge in Riverside Majestic Hotel.  Formerly, it was a shoe store. THE CLUB operates 16 hours a day! From 9.00am till 1.00am the next day!

Currently, The Club is having the Happy Hour Deal which is from 12pm till 9pm daily. During the Happy Hour, guests are entitled to the Buy 1 FREE 1 offer on all house pouring brands inclusive of beer, house wines and cocktails. *like*

What’s best is that they are operating through lunch and the Happy Hour is applicable during LUNCH HOUR!! Now, I have a new spot for lunch with nice, comfy and great ambiance spot for a quick bite of sandwich or cakes or pastries with cocktail coffee. It’s like a 5 Stars Starbucks, but better because they serve alcohol and that shouts,  “COCKTAILS!” *double like*

This is what it looks like from the main entrance. The entire lounge can accommodate approximately 50 people for a function like a cocktail reception. 50 is just comfortably alright, more than that would be too crowded.

The lobby is still under construction, otherwise, you can just walk in from there. For now there are two entrances to The Club; one from the shopping mall and the other is from outside.

This is the bar. It can accommodate approximately 5-7 people. Not a very long bar, but enough for those who just want to grab a drink and chat with the bartender.

Enough introduction on The Club, to know more about it is to experience it yourself. Now, I want to show off my experience at The Club. *plays harp*

Believe it or not, most of the guys drank fruit juice *smirks*

I’m impressed with the varieties of cocktails they serve. Most of them are new to me and I so love their Blue Margarita! My new favourite cocktail of the month. HEKHEKHEK

Even got snacks to munch while chit chatting with buddies or during business meet ups. If you don’t agree with the fella, can use this to hit them. :3 Just saying.

Normally, they would be more tables and chairs but for this cocktail reception, they got this big chunk of wood to serve as the buffet table. Nuff said, there were all yummilicious cocktail food on it. We get to sample all their cocktail food and boy, did we dine in style or what.

The tarts and mousse are all very sedaps (delicious)!! If only “FAT” is intangible.

As if I didn’t get enough from Mother’s Day at Orchid Garden Coffee House, Grand Margherita Hotel (btw, Grand Margherita Hotel and Riverside Majestic Hotel are sisters).

Purchasable stuff

If you think that a hotel lobby lounge sells hiking expensive pastries and cakes, then, you MUST give The Club a try.

The cakes and pastries sold here aren’t wallet or purse hole digger as they are all as affordable as dining in any franchise restaurants or cafes in Malaysia!

Privilege Card

Guests can sign up for The Privilege Card for FREE. The privilege cardholders are entitled to a 10% discount on the total bill of food and beverage in the hotel lounges – The Club, Riverside Majestic Hotel and Rajang Lobby Lounge, Grand Margherita Hotel.

Entertainment

The Club entertains their guests with musical live band playing Jazz and Blue only.

While the band takes a break, you have the talented sales execs to entertain you. Cool weh!

WIFI

From wired phone to wireless phone, from wired flash guns to wireless flash guns.

Of course there’s WIFI in this lobby lounge. Guests are entitled to  FREE WIFI in The Club. Just request for the username and password when you make your order.

P/S: Their internet connection is super duper fast.

Parking

Parking is not an issue here. There are plenty of parking in the building. Just don’t forget to bring along the parking ticket with you.

Guests are entitled to a special parking rate. RM2 only, cheaper than a bowl of Kolo Mee.
