Caffe` Americano to go - for Project 365: Day 25 April 21, 2009

How I wish Starbucks at the Spring’s outlet opens earlier than 8.30am. At least, I don’t have to rush to work after grabbing a cup of coffee to go. By the way, I had a piece of Banana Chocolate Muffin and it lasted a whole day. Ate a bit in the morning and the rest for lunch. So big and filling.

Starbucks Breakfast Set @ RM6.50

The breakfast set consists of a cup of Caffe` Americano and a piece of pastry of your choice (from donut to danish/cinamon/etc roll to muffins). It’s worth every cents! Why? Normally, a cup of Caffe` Americano costs RM6.50 and a piece of pastry ranges from RM4 – RM8. So, basically, buy 1 cup of Caffe` Americano get 1 piece of pastry for free. We all love free stuff don’t we? Especially Kuching people.

If you’re a Digi subscriber, you are entitled to 10% discount on this breakfast set. RM6.50 – 10% + 5% (tax) = RM6.15. Save 35 cents!! lol.. This 10% discount is valid till April 30th, 2009.

Got the doggie balloon from the Clown entertaining passers by at the Rainbow something carpet/sofa/home cleaning/purifying machine demonstration. I have no idea what the heck they are selling or promoting even after I asked the girl standing around holding papers (supposedly for survey?) and pen. It’s so freaking weird. They don’t even bother approaching, instead, they just stood there watching kids (including me and Sharon) getting baloons.

I heard that they are doing some survey. What sorta survey? Counting the number of doggie baloons being given away?

I guess by now, Rii should have received the prize. So, it’s safe to show everyone the prize.

As you can see, the envelope is blue and yellow themed. I like to play with colors. It’s amazing how a person’s mood is influenced by colors. So, if you ask me for my favourite color, I can’t answer you right away. It depends. It varies.

The Spring was opened until midnight on the third day’s of its opening as it falls on a Saturday. That night, almost the whole KB gang (Allen, JF, Tim, Ting, Rose, and zuzuPa) were at The Spring, covering the Chinese Musical Show. After the show, Tim called and told me that they’re at Starbucks for a drink. So, I took a break from chewing notes and went over to meet up with them.

I pampered myself with one BIG Banana Chocolate Muffin! It’s so big that I couldn’t finish it. It’s delicious but a little too dry.

And I got myself an Espresso Frappuccino. Needed the ooomph to keep me awake for the next notes chewing session. It did well, when I went to bed at 5 am, my body fell asleep while my mind were awake. Couldn’t fall asleep until 6 something. This is one strong espresso!

I was *ahem* very “punctual”. I vrrrooommed all the way from my college to the Airport (stopped by my house awhile) and along the way, I got several SMSs and Phonecalls, I’m almost at the airport so, I didn’t bother to reply or answer. XDD Sorry yea.. Must make grand grand entrance mar.. I finally arrived Kuching International Airport at 4.45pm fashionably early. =D The Catscity Clique is from 2pm to 6pm and of course I didn’t miss the flight. xDD

Ben wrote my name, “Eh-Nah~” on the sticker as nametags and got me an Adverlets-Starbucks printed wristband. The wristband served a great purpose, to signify your face for a free drink. The free drinks were all Azuki. Tastes like western Ang Tau Peng (Ice Red Bean). It’s very sweet and it tasted like red bean. XDDDDDD

The Azuki Frappuccino ® Belended Cream which I found over the Internet

Does it look familiar to you? It is to me.. Saw it a few times on the adverts by the side of my blog.

Azuki bean is a transliteration of Japanese which means small bean and big bean would be Soybean. Frappuccino® Blended Creme is sweet, creamy prefection without the coffee. I guess Azuki bean itself has it own true sweet flavour and combine with the Frappuccino Blended Creme (which is also sweet) makes the whole drink double the sweet.

And guess who joined us, Mr Advertlets, Josh Lim, himself flew all the way from KL to Kuching for this very Gather Bloggering Catscity Clique! Must also camwhore with Mr. Kaching Kaching. Hahaha…

We were all given two Advertlets badges. This time, I didn’t bring hairclip, so, can’t do the hairclip Advertlets. Then, I thought of doing something different than the rest (pin baju, seluar, beg, etc). I placed the badges on my shoes. The colours blend well there. Excited I am, disappointed a little too. The gathering is held on 15 September 2007. My degree course just started last month and it’s a Distance Learning Mode whereby we are given supported learning. For each subject we were given 16 hours = 4 classes per semester (3 months). Every Saturday, we have class from 2-6pm! LUCKILY, there were some changes for the class on the 15th!! Heeeheeee… Class is from 2-4pm. heeeheeeheee.. Therefore, I would be able to join the blogger gathering despite that I’ll be joining 2 hours later. =(

Look at the bright side, I AM GOING!!! Hohohohoho… So, Irene and Jimmy, I’m joining, okay? I’ve commented in both your blogs and also the Catscity.net. =P
