Last weekend was our Company’s 7th Annual Dinner at Pullman Kuching. There were lots and lots and lots of food and pichas taken that night. Viewed quite a number of albums in the sharing folders and decided to post this picha as a teaser before I have the time to update on the night itself.

December 26, 2009, the Boxing Day, one day adventure, 5 venues, 4 posts.

It all started with me alone at Level Up Fitness (LUF) and Yien joined me during my cardio session. Gladys joined us for a drink at Atok Kopitiam after our LUF session. Then, we proceeded to KBOX 11 for karaoke, but detoured to Cafe Ch@t because there were no rooms for us.  Later that evening, ahlost, JF, Frankie, and Mike joined in.

The inside

I like the interior and the ambiance feels Europeanish and quite vinty. Plus, there’s a chandelier in the middle of it! So, do look up for it when you’re there. It’s a pretty chandelier.

Oh, the walls are painted in purple. Do you know that purple is a royal color in the ancient time? The color truly matches the theme. And also, purple is an inspiration color which stimulates the mind of an artist.

Imagine my parents name me Anna Wella instead of Anna Bella. Hahaha.. That’d be cool.

We were introduced with the friendly staff and brought to our seats. While waiting for the stylist to attend us, we were treated with drinks and magazines. But, I prefer camwhoring myself. Hakhakhak..

Saying goodbye to hair before haircut

While camwhoring, I had to decide what type of hairstyle to get. Well, I intend to keep my hair long, so maybe just get a trim.

I used to have bob hairstyle. After sometime, I decided to have long hair again. So, from time to time, I’d go to a saloon (several places) and get my hair trimmed. Sometimes, when my fringe is going below my eyes, I’d trim them a bit by myself (almost all the time, end up in a saloon to repair that nasty haircut of mine). The prob with this “personalised” hairstyle of mine, is that, my hair ends tend to curl. Simply because they are just sitting on my shoulders. Even when I “shape” them using the hairdryer to curl inwards, they will still curl outward after sometime.

Before going for a hair wash, the stylist will check and analyse our scalp and asks us few questions about it. Like if scalp is oily, lose a lot of hair or not and etc.

The hair wash is really enjoyable. As Albert washes my hair, he also massages my head. It was so relaxing. See that ESSENSUALS face of mine?

I got a turban

After the hair wash, I’m back to my seat in a turban. Hahahaha.. Camwhored again while waiting for the stylist.

I highly recommend Stylist Chien. He’s really a pro. He knows what he is doing and what he is dealing with. He understands and meets the need of his clients.

Once seated, he’ll ask you questions regarding your hair, like which part of your hair which you have trouble with, any part which you don’t like, where is more difficult to handle and etc.. Once he understand the condition of your hair, he’ll then explain the reasons, ways of managing and before snipping your hair away, he even explained before hand how he will do it and how it’ll affect your hair and etc. He even taught me the way to blow my hair so it won’t curl the opposite way. *thumbs up*

We went to Borneo Reflexology, Petanak with Pazuzu and Ghosttedd for a good 90 minutes foot, leg and shoulder massage for RM30.

Took some videos at the beginning, but then, the camera went low batt and didn’t manage to shoot the massaging part. So, I didn’t bother to upload the videos. Huhuhuhu..

JF is hilarious. His masseuse gave him no mercy treatment (which made his RM30 very worthful) and he yelped in pain and poor Pazuzu had to endure his Godsmacks.

After the foot massage, we went to The Spring Tree Cafe for supper. It is located opposite Star Cineplex, same row as Bla Bla Bla Restaurant.

It’s just okay okay. To some it’s very salty. To me, too little seafood =X The ingredients are so little.

The noodles caught everyone’s attention. Like big big big piece of uncooked maggi mee. Ngahahahaha..

After supper, we crossed the road and went up to Star Cineplex. Since the previous week, we wanted to watch Transformer 2 but the good seats were all taken up, so to avoid any dissappointment, we went to get the tickets a night before. We bought the whole row of 15 seats!

Our very own well known local band that made big in the States is Alex Wong. His song was used as the theme song in the movie.

Guest band all the way from Hong Kong, AMS. Their fashion and style is different from us and they’re pretty cool. One of the best band I enjoyed that evening. Again, where can I get their CD?

Swing Habit

Swing Habit had the biggest respond from the audience as though they came to watch them perform only. Hahaha.. Die hard rocker fans!

Another guest band from KL, Lang. They too had responds from the audience, more like the other band members.

TMOT and Cynthia’s business namecards. The idea and design taken from the miniMoo I have. lol.. Among all the pichas they have on their cards, these are some with me on it (adalah rasa bangga sikit-sikit but I only can have one card T___T). Pichas are all taken by TMOT himself during our photoshoots (missing going out photoshooting with everyone) long time ago.

When the rest went to our limteh venue at After 3, a few of us stayed back awhile to camwhore with the Blood poster before going over.

For Project 365: Day 88 June 23, 2009

Overall, the movie is not that bad as the rest commented that it’s such a terrible movie. Personally, it depends who you are watching the movie with.

ahlost and I had a great laugh throughout the whole movie – on some scenes in the movie and the peeps sitting in front of us. Although, the graphic effects are a bit exagerating, but overall, it’s not a terrible movie if you know what’s going on. Plus, you’d appreciate sucha movie if you follow the anime.

When I went home that night, I dengan haoliennya told my bro we went to watch Blood. He told me I watched the anime before. What the LAMAO! I don’t even remember any sequence of the anime from the movie except for the part where Saya (the girl on Blood poster) slashing the zombies.

We’re going for another movie night outting tonight. Wee~ 15 pax this time!

Nasi Lemak Biasa @ RM3.00

I had the Nasi Lemak Biasa and Ice Nescafe. The nasi lemak’s sambal is spicy! Yum Yum.. But the papadham, after awhile, it’s not crispy anymore. It gets sogy so fast.

Everyone turned up for the gathering. Among them were:

Pazuzu (Alvin), Frankie, Evey, Edwin, and Darrel

Gladys, ahlost, Yien, Steve, TMOT and Gordon

Not in the above pichas are ME (behind the camera), JF (busy taking picha somewhere), Pui Joo and CKY (they left early).

Everyone acted normal like it was our usual gathering. When the clock strikes 11.55pm, Yien and I went to the back to get the cake ready.

The boss was kind enough to participate in our little surprise. When the candles were lit, they switched off the lights and we brought in the cake and everyone sang the birthday song.
