Yesterday, a few of us went to Carpenter Street for a session of Makan Makan (eat eat), Look See Look See, Walk Walk and Kacheek Kacheek (shutters sound). Took a few hundreds pichas (demdem.. not sure when I will be able to edit and upload them). Anyway, here’s one of the pichas I specially liked:

Unfortunately, after our brunch at Next Cafe, Bishopgate Road, it rained. However, the rain didn’t affect our fun outing as we proceed to take pichas under the drizzling rain.

The lonely couch sitting in one of the empty shoplots in Green Heights Mall. This is a nice idea to occupy the lot while waiting for a tenant to rent the place.

Sunset at Damai Beach

Went to Damai Beach Resort to watch sunset. The sun sets a little later than we thought, which in the end, I was late for the little reunion with old classmates. =X Sorry girls.

It was a damn hot day! Not a single cloud “caping” the mountain.

There were many people at the resort as it was a holiday – Labour Day. Also, there were lots of China tourists. @.@||

Read a lot on sea turtle adoption program from the Sarawak Forestry site. Am thinking of going over one of these day to adopt one and it’s pretty costly. So, I have to think about the budget I have. Also, I need to gather 5 peeps who are keen about it to go along with me. As there are only 15 slots in a year and each slots maximum 6 person a visit.

Sunset mode gives extra orangey and darker shades to the picha whereas the Auto mode’s pichas seems pale. Hmm.. Which of these modes do you think gives a better and nicer sunset effects that make the sunset picha nicer?

Yikes! I’m slacking from updating again. I have 3 outstanding updates for Project 365, 4 events updates and many many yummilicious food posts queuing. Let me find my shoes first to get back on track yeaaaa…! At the mean time, enjoy my very outdated post on Moo.

Being a Foodbuzz Featured Publisher has a lot of benefits. One of the benefits I got from it is the Moo MiniCards from Moo. Those Cutesy little cards with my name, blog title, blog url and Foodbuzz link on it.

Previously, some of you may have seen me with these:

The Moo MiniCards are half the width of the normal business card and a business card holder can’t hold them neatly. They tend to dance around in there and it’s a pretty embarrassing sight when you opened to exchange cards with others.

At first, I just place some in my purse. That was inconvenient as I need to open my purse (then people will look inside my purse and dumbfounded with my platinums and gold – which are bullshit exaggerations).

So and therefore, I decided to get Moo’s MiniCards holder USD4.99 only. There are a few colors to choose from and I chose white because it looks good on me. LOOOOL

After the ZOMG-long wait, I finally received the package from Moo.

Project 365: Day 3 30th March 2009

Today I’m 23 years and 2 days old. Not much difference on the appearance, just a little meaty already. Too many good food around. Almost every weekend I’m having buffet. =X

Sarawak Regatta 2008

Thanks to TMOT, I was able to make it for 2 events last Saturday, to PC fair and witness the Sarawak Regatta 2008. It was fun!

After visiting the PC Fair, which we sempat to make a few funny stunts, eg: acting being blown away by the oh-so-strong aircon wind, we stopped by the Petanak market to watch the regatta.

While waiting for the race to begin, TMOT and Wombok took a few pictures.

The starting point were quite far as I see it because the sampans all looked so small. When the race began, the regattas moved very fast and it was such a touching view.

This is the very first time in my whole 22 years living life, I ever witness such great team spiritual event! It was a great experience and really.. it’s really beautiful. Watching them regattaing is not a matter of rowing, it’s a matter of teamship and hardworkship. Together they start from the starting point, together they finish at the finishing line. Be it first or last, they go through together until the end. It is something admirable. C’mon.. You think with your current stamina and mindset, you can row from Petanak there until Waterfront??

After that race, we went to Riverine condo area to get a closer view of the starting point. There’s a jetty there and we took a few “kampung” shots. **More pichas coming in soon**
