Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist @ Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock

Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist

Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist is located in Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, not very far from the entrance of Petaling Street (aka Chee Chiong Kai). To make it easier to locate, it is situated directly opposite Lai Foong Restaurant.

Lai Foong Restaurant

It is also just accross the road from Wisma Fui Chiu and behind the wisma is the Maybank building.

Wisma Fui Chiu

If you’re still unsure of the location, refer to the location map here.

Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist location map

If you were to take LRT, you will take off from the Pasar Seni RapidKL.

Now, back to Shin Kee. It is well known for its original recipe and taste of beef noodles. It is very different from the Taiwanese beef noodles, and of course, different from our Kuching’s Ah Mui beef noodles (fehmes in Open Air).

LSS (Leung Shui Shuet) aka Liang Teh

The only drinks I first and know to order in any coffeeshops is none other than LSS (leung shui shuet) aka liang teh. LSS can be any cooling tea (something like “tea of the day”) such as chrysanthemum tea, sugarcane, herbal tea, air mata kucing and etc.

Chopsticks, saucers and chilli sauce

On every table, there are chopsticks, saucers and chilli sauce. So, while waiting for our noodles, we prepare our eating tools. :3

special chilli sauce

Shin Kee has its own homemade special chilli sauce which is very nice! Woo~

Couple spoon: Hen and Rooster

The spoons kinda give me an impression that the place exists for many years already!

Shin Kee Beef Noodles

This is the original Shin Kee Beef Noodles, just order it as “Ngau Miin”. This one consists of egg noodle with special beef sauce on it and spring onions.

Shin Kee Beef Noodles + Kueh Tiaw

This is a special Shin Kee Beef noodles combined with kueh tiaw, just order it as “Ngau Miin Hor Fun”.

an eccentric combination of noodles and hor fun

Even though this may look weird but surprisingly, it tasted great. Q noodles and soft hor fun.

Beef Cheng

Each bowl of beef noodle comes with a bowl of soup with tender and juicy beef slices, beef balls, and innards.

Full set of Lunch

This is how our full set of lunch look like, an extra bowl of soup for the other bowl of beef noodle which is being eaten when this picha was taken. lol
