Reunion at Garden Steamboat

The St. Teresa Reunion for Graduates of Year 2003 was held at Garden Steamboat. The date and venue were very last minute decided and hence the low response from the fellow mates. Some were not in hometown, some were back in Kampung, some were not able to make it, some were nowhere to be contacted. Given the week to find the whole batch was impossible. There were no high expectations. We just like to keep it simple, flexible and achievable.

Garden Steamboat is located in Jalan Nanas which is just opposite Lim Kok Wing. Refer to the map for better illustration on the location.

This place is big enough to accommodate big groups and you can organize gatherings or events here as well. Also, the more pax the higher chances to get more discounts.

Buffet of cooked and uncooked food

Help yourself with all the cooked and uncook food. Take as much as you can eat but don’t just take blindly. It would be a waste if you couldn’t finish the food you’ve taken. Also, you’ll get fine for it. So, take, cook and eat smartly.

Lamb Curry

My favourite!! Lamb curry.. yum yum.. The lamb curry here is nice. The lamb is tender and the sauce tastes delicious and of course, it’s spicy. But not very spicy.

There are 2 types of soup base for steamboat; Chicken soup or Tom Yum soup.

Grilling Crabs

They used to have grilled crabs but they don’t grill those anymore. So, we helped ourselves with the fresh crabs from the fridge and grill them with lots of butter.

The crabs we grilled are way nicer and tastier than the ones they used to grill.

We managed to confirm more than 15 pax but only 8 turned up. Well, it wasn’t as disappointing as you see it because just meeting up with them again after so many dinosaur years are good enough to bring back all the memories shared back in high school. Plus, this group cliques.

Yes, we still gossip on the same teachers. Especially the Pink Monster and Baboon. ngekngekngek.. But let’s not get into that now.
