It is summer in Malaysia the whole year from the first day of the calender till the end! It is hot and humid everyday and what’s the best way to kill the heat? Nothing like an ice cool ice cream in hand
Better yet, a healthy yet delicious homemade ice cream in hand. You’re rest assured of what the contents are in the ice cream. All you need are 3 simple items you can get in any supermarket; Nestle Natural Set Yogurt, Fruits and Honey/Sugar.
Give it a try!
- Nestle Natural Set Yogurt
- Honey or Sugar
- Clean the berries and mango. Cut the mango into cubes.
- In a blender, add in 4 table spoons of yogurt, 2 table spoon of honey or sugar (depending on how sweet you want to go) and a handful of strawberries, blueberries and mangoes. Blend them well.
- Pour the mixture into ice cream molds and leave it in the freezer till it’s ready.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Makes 4 (or more depending on the number of ice cream molds you have)
P/S: Leave in the freezer for a few hours, I did it the night before and started licking the next day.
Note: If you don’t have an ice cream mold, you can also use cups and put in a spoon so that it can be a holder.
It is a very easy to make this ice cream. You just need the yogurt and fruits of your choice. Alternative fruits: Kiwi, Melon, Passion Fruit, Banana, etc..
