Been craving for Shihlin’s Oyster Mee Sua for few weeks already. And so we went to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks for a quick dinner just before our movies at TGV (yes, it’s finally open and renovation is not fully completed yet). Although located in the other wing of 1 Utama Shopping Centre, we dragged our feet. It’s like a few KM walk, but it was worth it. :3
Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks is located in the Lower Ground of 1 Utama Shopping Centre’s New Wing. Just walk all the way to New Wing and search for LG312A.
The menu is very simple. Only 11 items.
There are many of this Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks outlet in Klang Valley, to date, I don’t have any particular favourite outlet as they are all the same and even the Oyster Mee Sua has a fair consistency in taste. No complain.
Oyster Mee Sua @ RM6.50
My all time favourite is the Oyster Mee Sua. I definitely and always and must have this whenever I step into Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks.
This is the closest Oyster Mee Sua to the ones I’ve tasted in Taiwan, compared to the other eateries I’ve tasted in Klang Valley.
Oyster Mee Sua @ RM6.50
Mee Sua (salted Chinese noodles made from wheat flour) in thick gravy served with 3 fresh oysters, shredded chicken and coriander leaves. There’s also black vinegar and their in-house chili paste to complement the mee sua to a more delicious level.
Salty. Sour. Spicy.
In case you don’t know, these pichas are taken with my new camera, Samsung NX1000. This last picha is one which I just learned how to do frontier bokeh. What do you think? Any good?
I know the mee sua is. *burp*
