My Last Dine At Pizza Hut

Bro and I love pizza and we enjoy eating pizza regardless of where the pizza is from, as long as it’s a big piece of round crust with toppings and cheese, cheese and cheese on top. No matter how bad a pizza can get, a bottle of Tabasco sauce is good for me.

We went to Pizza Hut, Jalan Song’s outlet for dinner with my aunty. What was first a “yay! Pizza Hut for dinner!!” later became a disastrous dinner.

For project 365: Day 32 April 28, 2009

And for this supreme experience, this day marks the last day I’ll ever step into any Pizza Hut outlet. – period That’s it!

Few waitresses were involved in this. They are waitress A, B and Manager C.

First, waitress A served us. I made the order, bare in mind, I speak loud and clear and I take food seriously. I ordered 1 Pasta Sensasi Delight (comes with 1 plate of Portugese spaghetti, 1 drink , 1 soup and 2 breadsticks), 1 Combo Meal 3 (comes with 1 regular pizza, 2 drinks, 2 soups and4 breadsticks) and 1 garden fresh salad. The waitress repeated our order and she was whispering the whole way and she spoke so damn fast as if her words were of road runner running on the train track. All I heard was 1 this and 1 that, anything else?

I didn’t bother to make her repeat the order over because she was such in a hurry. I don’t know man, it’s like there’s a bull chasing after her.

She served us 3 drinks and 3 bowls of soup. The soup was horrible! Can’t believe Pizza Hut actually serve such a soup! It’s Creamy Chicken Soup as they call it. It was so diluted, and it tasted sour!! WTHECKKKKKKK! What an appetite ruiner!

We asked them to take it away and told them that something is wrong with the soup. When one of the waitress came to collect the soup, she said that they must have put too much salt. I told her that the soup is sour, her eyeballs almost fell out of her eye sockets.

Next thing we know, they brought the whole pot of soup back to the kitchen. ERKS!! To those of you who drank the soup already, are you feeling ok?

While waiting for our replacement for the soup, the spaghetti arrived. It was pathetically half the portion of what is seen on the display picha. Even a kitten would mew after eating that! (meaning the portion was so small that it barely fills a cat’s tank)

We started off with the salad and the *adds sarcasm* oh-so-delicious Portugese spaghetti.

Correct me if I’m wrong. Normally, everyone is served with their soup and bread sticks (if they order or it’s included in the meal) while waiting for the pizza, right?

In my case, the soup was a disaster, the bread sticks came as dessert. Go figure.

We waited quite awhile for our pizza. Waitress B served us. She served our pizza and when we saw the pizza, we got the shock of our lives. It was a small piece of pizza – personal pan crust pizza. WTHEEEEEEEEEEEECK!

Immediately, I called her back and told her that she brought us the wrong pizza. She took the receipt out and check through and told us that, it was the right size and walks off. Still in shock, I called her back and asked her to double check with waitress A on our order. She called for waitress A and according to her, I made that order for 2 personal meals! WTF!

I requested for the menu and I point out the items I ordered and waitress A defended herself saying that I ordered Combo Meal 1 and that I never mention anything on Combo Meal 3. DOUBLEWTF!!

I asked her back, if I did order 2 personal meals, why did she serve us 3 drinks and 3 bowls of soup? She went speechless and kept telling waitress B about me making the order for 2 personals. TRIPLEWTF!!!

At this level, I got so freaking frustrated not only because she ruined our order and dinner,but at the same time, accused that I made mistake in ordering. How the fuck, HOW THE FUCK, seriously, HOW THE FUCK WOULD I MAKE A MISTAKE ON WHAT I WANT TO EAT? DID I FUCKINGLY TYPE OUT THAT RECEIPT? COULD YOU PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME?

You’re the one rushing as if a bull is chasing and HEARD or ASSUME or whatever and got our order wrongly DARE to SAY I made the mistake while ordering?! WTFSHIT IS THAT?

Not only that, when I questioned them again, “What’s the logic of serving 3 drinks and 3 soup when I order 2 personals?” Again, I was not given an answer but was ignored. SUPERTHEWTF OK!

Then, I raised my voice asking for their Manager. THEY TAKUT! giezz.. Then waitress A went to kitchen and started cussing. WTF IS THAT? Staff cussing in a fast food chain because a customer whom she accused MADE A MISTAKE IN HER ORDER?

And hor! whenever she walks pass our table, she put on this superthebitchy face that I really wanted bitchslap her till her cat can’t recognise her!

I explained our situation to Manager C and guess what? Manager C addresses waitress A as HER FRIEND. WTF!! My staff or my colleague would be a proper way of addressing but MY FRIEND? She too, gave me a very bad impression of the whole outlet.

Manager C repeats the order on the receipt and said that we ordered 2 personals. And again, I had to tell her over and over again that, “I ordered 1 Combo Meal 3 and 1 of that sensasi delight. Drinks and soup came. The soup is sour and there’s something wrong with it. We don’t want the soup anymore and we would like a replacement. The replacement’s not here yet, so nevermind. The breadsticks NEVER arrived. As far as I know, I ordered Combo Meal 3 which comes with a REGULAR sized and not SMALL.”

Manager C cut in a few times (so bo ka si one ok) while I was talking and she told us to eat the small pizza while she get us the regular one, and walks away. FINE!

WE EAT THE TINY PIZZA LAAAAAAAAAAR!

When the RIGHT size pizza arrived, she asked if we want to have anything else like drinks refill and etc.. Then, I reminded her again that we haven’t gotten any replacement for the soup and our breadsticks never arrived. She asked if we would like to have more drinks or garlic bread. Told her to forget about the soup and get us our breadsticks and the bill.

Manager C first said that she will give us 25% discount and suddenly she said she’ll give us RM5 voucher instead. WTF!! Twist and turn one! I told her to keep the RM5 voucher. WHY? BECAUSE I ALREADY SET MY MIND NOT TO DINE IN PIZZA HUT EVER AGAIN. Why would I go to Pizza Hut again and risk to experience such event again and spend more than RM5 just for the RM5 voucher?

Then, she mentioned that, we will only be charged for 2 personals. With that, we asked few questions to clarify things like what we’re paying and what we’re getting and she started to raise her voice while explaining.

Best of all, they never apologize.

I am so damn not impressed lorh! Even though, we get the regular pizza for free, I’m very much unsatisfied and unhappy with their customer service. How can they accuse the customer for making wrong order. What a joke?!

Pissed I am but I’m cool already. However, how many consumers actually stand up for their rights?

My friends, as a consumer, how do you feel? Have you experience anything similar as such? What treatment/compensation did you get or not get? If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

  • omg, is that pizza hut service getting so worst? i never had good impression as i remember, last time i go to the same outlet as u, there is around 6 o 8 of us, i cant remember, there is two floor right? so the ground floor’s table is mainly enough for 4 ppl o 2ppl ..maybe 5?? how could it fit 6 to 8?? then i come in, they ask got how many ppl i say around 6 to 8, then i say i’m going to sit upstairs, but then who knows they pula say, sit ground floor la, straight i say them back, we so many ppl how to sit at ground floor!! wtf~~~

  • Yeah! The service damn lousy. Normally my eating mood will judge start from the service. Been there before, request for Tabasco sauce, they said don’t have but I see other table got. I ask for tomato sauce, they gave me a bottle which only left few drop. We were wearing very casually, they look from the head to the toes, and the service is different than other table who worn more ‘high class’ than us, maybe they thought that we don’t have money to pay. Yeah right, maybe we r not rich but we are able to pay for that meal…They should realign on their service, and also foods…its going down hill pizza de hut!

    Same! Service plays a very important role! If the service sucks, really ruin the mood to enjoy the food.

    That’s very bad for them to serve customers based on their appearance. Everyone pays for the 10% service charge yet they serve customers differently.

  • Yesterday, my ‘dai sou’ ordered pizza hut to our house, the delivery was kinda fast. They promised 30 minutes arrive my house but after 20 minutes the delivery boy already reached my house. Kinda impressive. I think the nearest pizza hut outlet from my house is located at sarawak plaza there…

    Perhaps, pizza hut at jalan song have a very poor customer service + manager. Please improve ler… Customers is always right!!!

    I was so damn pissed and upset with their service that I even vowed not to dine in Pizza Hut ever again! I was that angry. lol..

    Now I rather eat pizza else where with better service and generous toppings and cheese like Merdeka Palace and their pizza prices are similar with pizza hut!

    I ever experience once in KFC..not the one i told u lah.. i bought a snack plate and i give her RM 50 ma.. the cashier don have duit pecah so he tell the supervisor.. and the supervisor ask him to giv me the RM 42 plus plus in one dollar note and coins.. WTH! i was so shocked i ask them are u sure u wanna giv me the RM 42 in one dollar notes.. the supervisor bin o o.. say ” Tak ada duit pecah bah.. ” in a very high voice. but the cashier suggest to the supervisor he shud change money from the neighbour shop.. but the supervisor keep saying no need no need jus giv her one dollar.. wah! i so feel like throw the chicken on her ugly face!!! somemore that time 3pm no ppl gok~

    in the end.. i tell the supervisor she sucks and should be ashamed of herself. even a cashier the manner is so much better than she is. She look so angry and she tell me really don have change. so i tell her last time the supervisor will go to the neighbour shop and change for the customers. She is so not happy and lastly she took out one stake of ten dollar notes from the drawer! WTF!!! got change tell me no change! So from that time onwards.. i never go to that particular KFC chain store anymore. THE ONE LOCATED AT 2
    1/2 miles!

    I heard a lot of bad service experiences from friends and family on the 2-1/2 mile’s outlet for both KFC and Pizza Hut. That’s really terrible to raise voice at customer and return change of RM42 in 1 ringgit notes! That’s so ridiculous..

    The management seriously need to do something about it. I don’t fancy KFC so I don’t care if it does not exist anymore. I’m always for McDo.

    Go ahead and slapped those b*ithes! I never slap but I really stood up and argue/fight with them. Filed several complaints to Persatuan Pengguna some more.
    Anyway, eat pizzas elsewhere, just don’t go back to Pizza Hut again, ever!

    The outlet was then notified there is a complaint filed by a consumer (that’s moi). And they requested the consumer association to clarify the dispute with me and when they contact me, they blamed why am i not settling the issue with them privately. In fact, I already ‘threatened’ them that i will file a complaint but they did not bother with that coz they thought i wouldn’t. haha, padan muka.
    Anyway only apologize was issued and i accepted it (it’s a small matter more or less like yours but damn pissing me off). The end. No more pizza hut.
    While some other cases like bought a foul computer appliance and they refuse to refund or replace, I filed it to the tribunal and the shop was requested to give me a refund (and they did, bo bian). Malaysian service industry is very bad that we the consumers have to resort to complaints or tribunals or else nothing would be done.

    Whoaaa.. Seems like you face more difficulties and complications during your visit at Pizza Hut. For me, just this once is enough to set my mind from setting another foot into Pizza Hut. Too “bo ka si” already.

    I’m still waiting for the reply from the customer care. It has been close to a week already. Guess I’ll need to bring it to where you filed your complaints. I think there is more efficient and an apology is good enough. I don’t ask for more, just that during that time, they were really really pissing me off as if I owed them and I deserve such lousy service!

  • i see yien yien’s comment about kfc..haha..i ever also once experience another thing that i just sud thought off..haha..i go buy kfc…then i order for wedges, turn up they give me french fries..then i complain, excuse me, i order wedges, then they show me the receipt say i order french fries, then i raise my voice a bit higher (me bad tempered ma..haha) then i say i order wedges! then they say they replace for me, know what they replace? FRENCH FRIES AGAIN!! wtf!! then i’m so angry, and just take it away and don’t want to argue anymore..geram..i’m wondering, is it malays (to the other malays: no offense yea..i’m not saying ALL, i’m just saying some!!) at malaysia working attitude is all like shit?!

    We were almost done with our pizza left only 2 slices, under one of the slices got dead lipas.. We didn’t notice it earlier coz it was in the center.. Bottom crust… We complain, den the waiter make face instead of saying sorry.. den he suggested we order another one but we have to pay for 2 pizza now.. wtf..

    we call da manager la.. da manager oso refer the waiter as MY FREN.. wtf..

    i’ve dine in san fracissco pizza in kl, i found lipas in my salad still alive, i call the waiter he quickly apologize and replace it immediately..then the manager came to my table and apologize as well..now dat is wat i call good customer service…

  • hahaha… service sucks.. nvm.. if i were in the situation i will not make their life’s easy for them. i’ll make sure i bring the case to KL head-office and get their highest ranking manager to be involve.. hehehe.. most important is that they must get the SHIT they created and also the worse nightmare in serving me.. hehe… Coz i pay ma.. i deserved it.. i may be right or wrong depending on how you look at it.. but if you give me shit, you will get mine and its going to be hurting your pocket or career. hehe… so kejam!

    I know how you feel too. We are all the same. We paid for the food and service and yet we don’t get the service and treatment as how a customer should be treated.

    I want this issue to be publicly known as I want to know our rights as a customer. To what extent we can go in such issue.

    i think feedback form is simply not strong enough its kind of like bulshit., have to send emails to the GM or BDM or RM or watever M M M ranking then screw them so hard in the emails and also throw all those bad impression about them. make them notice.. and when they call you.. ahhhhh there you know… bring the case to them. record the conversation (NSA style) then u tell them the conversation is recorded. and also screw the person who is calling you.. hahahahhah….

    very simple, bigger company you need to screw the boss to get your attention and also give the waiter/waitress and also supervisor a nightmare.. meaning your not taking the case so simple and also make sure they are in real big trouble or out of joB. just scold them on the phone when ur talking to the manager or the Director the best then they will take ur case seriously.. hehehe…

    We were dining on ground floor. We didn’t go up since there were seats at the ground floor. I think should be the same waitresses as I get feedbacks on the same waitress. There are 2 of them, they are like partners in crime. LOL.. so, have you filed complain to the site? I think the more people make feedback on that outlet, the higher chances actions will be taken. So far, up till today, i have yet to receive any reply from Pizza Hut.

  • Hi there, I just happened to bump onto your blog. I can relate to your experience at Pizza Hut Jln Song as I USED to dine there quite often. I don’t know what’s the problem with the food industry here in Kuching. Waiters/waitresses almost never apologize when they make mistakes with our order. To add salt to injury, they tend to give you the charcoal-black-face when we point out their mistakes. I am waiting for the day I get some decent service without having patronizing “higher-priced” places (and sometimes paying more doesn’t even promise you good service!).

    Furthermore, you paid the 10% service tax and yet get such unsatisfying service! I surfed the Hak Pengguna site but I don’t find anything relative or useful towards the service industry. Because no organisation/group/body is regulated to watch over the service industry, the service industry tend to sway off from their primary obj = CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

    I THINK, the Group is not much concern about their service (I think. Based on their respond, WHICH THEY NEVER RESPOND TO MY CUSTOMER FEEDBACK), they’re more into franchising rather than servicing. <– My 2 cents.

Im working in kl so we hav our lunch at pz that in jusco shopping centre.,.,.in balakong.,.,cheras selatan.,.,this is a very very fck services.,.,i ever had in pizza hut and i wnt ever go to that branch anymore .,.,.,we been order and we wait almost 30 minutes then come the garlic bread .,.,and its served cold .,i guess they oven has spoil.,.saw some customer complain bout the bread coz serve cold,.,not drinks were serve first.,.,so we ignore the bread that was not heated.,.,.,then come the aroma thai spagetti.,.,its served on plate like a rubbish.,.,.,like we go eat buffet.,.,juz like they cook a big pot of spagetti then juz take a small quantity then throw in a plate then served,.,.,!!!! FCK.,.,.,i nvr served tis way since the food expensive and paid fck tax.,.,.,!!! then the lagsana.,.,.,before i eat the lagsana .,.,height was bout 2-3cm.,.,but today the lagsana dont reach 1 cm at all.,.,.,cost RM8.50.,.,.,what the FCK again.,.,.,the pizza was very salty.,.,as well.,.,the chicken wing taste like shit as well.,.,.,
