Carvery Restaurant,
Carvery Restaurant (previously located in Pending) is now located in Abell Hotel on Abell Road. This restaurant is every Carnivorian/Meat Lovers dining place! They serve approximately 16 types of MEAT (white & red meats including seafood)!
Not sure what to expect? Here’s my review on Carvery Restaurant when they were still in Pending. Then, they moved to Abell Hotel which is right in the Cat City! Been there few times during my holidays back in Kuching. Although the venue has changed, but the varieties of MEAT is still the same Normally, I’ll skip most of the meat servings (chicken wings, sausages, ham & turket, etc) to save up the tummy storage for just Sirloin and a few slices of lamb. Yums!
For Mother’s Day, they are serving Carvery Buffet including an all “new” Roast Station speciality! Don’t miss out on this!

Grand Margherita Hotel
Two years ago, we went to the Orchid Garden Coffee House for the Mother’s Day buffet dinner. You can read about it here. We paid for ourselves while my Mama eat for free. One of the reason why we chose this venue is for that particular reason. LOL! Sorry, Ma. Now you know.
But, we don’t look at it that way. 2 accountants to be (me and bro), did some smart calculations. Instead of paying RM79++ per person, we paid RM68.14 each (in average of 4 persons).
For this year’s Mother’s Day, it seems like there are no more free wine nor Mum eats free promotion. However, they are serving Market Fresh Buffet Dinner. I guess they will be serving more seafood

I’ve never been to Simplicious Restaurant before but my friends have been going there for food and events. Gotta try out the place when I go back one day. If you’re looking for a simple meal and adventurous to try out a new eatery place, you should give Simplicious a try. The restaurant is located in Pisang Road off Green Road. To me, driving in Green Road is like an adventure. It’s a maze in there! LOL
If you’re familiar with the ins and outs of Green Road, then, you will have no problem finding this place
