Meet & Greet with Fabio Cannavaro @ Tiger Street Football 2013 Malaysia

This is Fabio Cannavaro.

He is the former Italy captain and FIFA World Player of the Year and he was in town as Tiger Street Football Ambassador. There were loads of excitement and fans over the two days (August 17-18, 2013) at the Old Wing Carpark, 1 Utama as Tiger Street Football, a regional street football tournament witnessed top local and international teams compete for the chance to win lucrative cash prizes and the chance to represent Malaysia at the Tiger Street Football Grand Finals in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in November.

 

Fabio takes to the cage to show how it’s done during an exhibition match with local personalities and media partners

Tiger Street Football  is organized by Tiger Beer in partnership with leading pay-TV network FOX International Channels Asia. On the first day, there were 32 top local teams battled it out to become the Tiger Street Football Local Champions. In a goal-packed finals match, Fisherman’s Friend Team D managed to beat Brabus United A by a solid 7-2 goal margin, winning not just USD3,000 (approximately RM 9,000) but also the chance to represent Malaysia at the Tiger Street Football Grand Finals in Vietnam with a shot at winning glory, honour and US$30,000 (approximately RM 90,000).

 

Knowing my friend, Fred, who is a big fan of football, he would appreciate the meet and greet session more than anyone else. Furthermore, Fabio Cannavaro is his idol. Thanks to Tiger for the invitation to this unforgetable opportunity to meet Fabio Cannavaro in person and getting his autograph.I’m sure Fred had his fun, check out his jersey.
