Yesterday, we snaked out early for lunch because we didn’t want to return office late XD It’s not like we do it often, just on special occasion such as Birthday Lunch for a colleague.

A colleague of mine went to The Haute Food Co once and suggested the venue for the Birthday lunch. The Cafe is located in Block B, Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas (will leave the location map and address at the end of the post).
The Cafe offers varieties of sandwiches, pastries, cakes and specials of the day (pie, pasta, etc). You can check out their menu here *click*.
#Fruity Concoctions (from RM8.90)
I ordered Ollie for its special mix in it. I presumed it would taste refreshing and thirst quenching as it has lime and cucumber.
Turns out to be very sweet and only lime and ginger ale taste. No cucumber taste as they only have 2 slices in it. Which makes me think what purpose does the cucumber has in this drink? Should I pick them up and place them on my eyes?
Nonetheless, it’s still a drink I’d order again in future because it’s Yummeh!

Sunset @ RM9.50 ~ Pink grapefruit + strawberry
My colleague loved the drink as it’s soothing refreshing with both fruity and citrusy flavours in it.
#Coffee (from RM7.50)

Long black @ RM7.50
At the time this cup of black coffee sits on the table, I was tantalized by its aroma~ *high*

Cappuccino @ RM7.50
The Cappuccino looks good and light (mild coffee). As my colleague who is a mild coffee drinker, a cup of this can keep her awake till the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hours :O
#Cakes (from RM12.00)
The Haute Food serves different cakes everyday (except Tuesday – their off day).
Yesterday, there were some great selections of cakes (Berrimisu, Chocolate something tart, Chocolate Roche, Cheese Cake, etc). It took us quite some time to decide and we ended up choosing Chocolate Rocher because it’s the most MANLY cake to get for a guy

Chocolate Rocher @ RM12.00
The Chocolate Rocher is abso****inglutely delicious! With its rich and bitter chocolate cake layered with its chocolate cream topped and decorated with chocolate meringue rolls! It has been awhile since I last tasted such delicious cake!
#Croissant (from RM5.90)

Almond croissant @ RM6.90
We also ordered a piece of Almond Croissant to share.
It’s delicious too but my tastebud is voting for the Chocolate Rocher. The chocolate taste is too powerful d….
#Tart or Pie (from RM15.90)

Smoked Salmon Quiche @ RM15.90

Linguine Aglio Olio with Salmon @ RM18.90
I ordered the Linguine Aglio Olio with pan seared salmon. Although the linguine is slightly overcooked (too soft in a way), however, the salmon is fabulous <3

Beef Lasagne @ RM15.90
The beef lasagne is wonderful! Love the beefy and cheesy content minus the fatty oil.
#Sandwiches (from RM9.50)
All sandwiches made fresh or toasted with white, multigrain or rye bread.

Roast Beef Sandwich @ RM15.90
A few colleagues of mine ordered the roast beef, caramelised onions and mizuna (mustard leaf) sandwich. The sandwiches are served with fresh salad on the side.
Sandwiches are served on a wooden chopping board which we find very interesting. However, no chopping knife is served along.
Overall, we enjoyed our “rush hour” lunch here. It’s an ideal place to grab a quick and light lunch. All mains are served with fresh salad and it really balance the meal. *like*
The price for food is averagely affordable, as for the drinks, it may be too pricey for lunch. They do serve drinking water at RM1.00 per glass.
By the way, there are no service and government tax….not yet, I guess.
Food, drinks and services are great. It would have been better if they provide free WIFI, then, I might drop by again during the weekends just to leech.
