Last night was the first day for the Kuching Festival 2009 Food Fair. Well guessed, as a SUPPORTIVE KuchingKia, I was one, among the crowd, despite that this year’s crowd is a bit cold. Last year was TOO CROWDED, especially on Day 1 and the weekends. Even when it’s passed 9.30pm, you can find empty tables and chairs! (We used to stand beside tables and wait till someone finishes their food and “race” for their seats) Is it due to A(H1N1)?

Cold Crowd
I will definitely remember this night because I was A380 by Mamee and Dadee and Kacheng spend the rest of the night selling balloons (not literally). Met up with Alvin, Stephen, Foosi, Jason and Anthony. Later, Rose, Tim and Ting joined in after their BOL session.

Cute Aeroplane Balloons for sale
A friend tagged me in Facebook on a food poster. He tagged me on “DIE”. +..+!! very ZOMG!

Bird's poster
Check out the footer, “DIE-DIE MUST TRY!” So ZOMG right? Very very Kuchingnised! So, when I went to the food fair, must go and try otherwise…die jor… *choi choi* Anyway, I’m still alive to post this, so I did try something from there. =..=ZOMG

BigBird pai pose with zOMG
ZOMG!! BigBird is the owner of this food stall. zOMG is the first food stall I’ve ever encoutered which HAS A WEBSITE!! Talk about the power of Internet and Domain name on MEGAsales right now. LOL!! (but the zOMG site is not as informative my post lei. I HAVE MAP. LOL!!)

Canopy #97, beside Bombay Masala.
If you know the spot where they sell balloons, you will be able to find zOMG, which is just opposite it.

Canadian Poutine @ RM6.00
Canadian Poutine is a must try (or else die) from zOMG. It’s really delicious. With the chips sitting at the bottom of the bowl topped with Mozzarella cheese (kid you not) and then hot gravy poured over it. Once the cheese had the touch of the hot gravy, the whole bowl became cheesy. Oh, it took awhile for the cheese to melt. It’s mozzarella after all, not cheddar (because cheddar melts easily but not as cheesy as mozzarella).
Canadian Poutine is the staple food for Canadians, as how rice is the staple food for the South East Asian.

Mini Burgers @ RM2.00
The mini burgers are really mini. Like the size of a kompia BUT very rich in ingredients. There’s the chicken patties, mayo, lettuce, cucumbers, double cheese and our sweet local pineapple.

Chicken Bites @ RM5.00
This chicken bites here is also very special. The deep fried chicken cutlets are showered with peppery spices! A definite yumyum for hot and spicy lovers. The hot peppery spice is specially custom made from different pepper and chilli powder to give that extra pedas lagi sedap.
P/s: Albert, I help you promote your special food stall, can I claim for free yummylicious Poutine? LOL!! JK~
