Ileq Ileq Cafe is a place to dine, chill, hangout and even to jam. Located in Haji Taha behind Am Bank, view the map for further illustration.

Ileq in local language means Relax. The name really portrays the cafe as a play to relax and to chill. It has two types of seatings;
The usual table and chairs furnishings
… and the more relaxing and homey seatings. The cafe has simple and very homey interior.

As for the food and drinks, the prices are average cafeish. Whereby drinks are priced at RM2.50 onwards, RM3.00 onwards for snacks and RM5.00 onwards for main course.

The cafe has a jamming stage. At approximately 9pm, there will be performances. Am not sure where these performers are from but they seem to be friends or regulars of the cafe. You can also join in to jam or just get on the stage and perform.

Both of them are very good. Good harmonization on the lead and acoustic guitar and the fella in white shirt, his voice is nice and he sings very well.

I think we should hangout here in a big group and get our superstar to perform and we cheer and join in to kelefei on the stage. Teehee.. That would be fun.

Overall, the food is great, the drinks not bad, the environment is okay, the instruments are free to use (can practice while eating), and last but not least, it’s a great place to hangout despite the hot weather and the place is not fully air conditioned.
Hmm.. what a place! Ayam Penyet a bit pricey, it’s just the plain fried chix with cheap veggies. ehhehee.
