The night before I left for Jakarta, we had a small gathering at Caffe Cino, Hilton. You can easily spot Caffe Cino in the hotel lobby. Just turn right at the entrance.

Simply have to have this gathering because:
- Mikel is back and leaving on Wednesday.
- I’m leaving the next next and only coming back on Thursday.

Picha kinda blur because of Mikel lahh.. He Splashmilk at my camera. XD
Anyway, I always wanted a small gathering at Caffe Cino before leaving and coincidentally, Mikel the Splashmilk the Mikel, is back and so, simply must have this gathering before I leave.

See for yourself. The prices are similar with those cafes out there and the only expensive in this menu is the soft drinks and mineral water. One can of softdrink (Eg: Coca Cola, F&N) is RM9.00! A bottle of MULU MINERAL WATER IS RM9.00!

Caffe Cino’s Hot Chocolate @ RM9.00
The reason of all reasons why we’re here is because of Cafe Cinno’s Hot Chocolate. Everyone has been talking about it, blogging about it since Cafe Cinno first started. And only that night, we went there together. If Hotdog 1901 is food for friendship, then this Hot Chocolate is the drink for friendship. Cheers!

Caffe Cino”s Signature Ice Blended Mocha @ RM13.50
JF had this. Since it’s the signature drink, it better be good. kekekeke..

Then, we ordered Salmon Yee Sang form the Caffe Cino’s Festival Season Menu. Since I won’t be celebrating CNY in Kuching with everyone this year, so TMOT suggested we have an early Yee Sang with me. So best. What am I to do without you guys?

Salmon Yee Sang @ RM16
“The traditional Chinese New Year Salad with assorted pickles and crispy crackers served with sliced raw salmon and special dressing.” – Caffe Cino
The special dressing consists of sweet & sour plum sauce (I think) and OIL! The red packet consists of pepper. Very cute packing and very creative of them. There are all sorts of veggies, crackers and few slices of salmon ):
Watch us the nuisance.. sakai eat Yee Sang!!

Have to say that for the price we’re paying, RM16 is quite pricy and the portion is really small. But, the fun we had over the Yee Sang is really worth every cents we paid for it.

The aftermath

Group picha before leaving.
There’s ahlost, annna, gLaDieZz, JF, Splashmilk, TMOT and Wombok.

There are other specials available at Caffe Cino for this festive season.

I guess at this hour, I’m probably busy shopping or sight seeing. Kekekeke..

Ahahha.. always go to Hilton nowadays.. But don’t dare eat anything. Price will surely make a good damn hole in my wallet.

i am a big fan of cafe cino and goes there almost every now and then, but i think the hot chocolate is slightly overrated. yes, it is unique and it is very different, but in terms of quality, i don’t understand how can people think that its great. it doesn’t melt properly in the milk and it doesn’t taste anywhere near good chocolate. but i definitely LOVE the quiet, comfortable and cool environment.

300mb?? holy cow.. that’s huge. lol
I like the hot chocolate and the ambiance is really good, but RM9.00 for a soft drink is way too expensive even for a hotel.

cdason: The hot chocolate is not very expensive (RM9). The drinks at Cafe Cinno is similar with those cafes (eg: Bing!, Tao, Tom’s). Just the food is pretty highclassly priced. lol
ehon: Yea, gotta agree with you, the hot chocolate is unique. It tastes just like milk with a “bar” of chocolate floating in it. Overall, I enjoy sitting there with friends just chatting, catching up and laughing our ass off. The ambiance is great (minus it’s smoking zone).
wombok: can’t believe you ordered a can of F&N OREN!! hahaha.. You can get 9 cans from Ta Kiong for the price you’re paying at Cafe Cinno.
