I’ve dined in SOULed Out @ Hartamas a couple of times before and thoroughly enjoyed my experienced each time. Earlier this month, I was invited to a private media engagement dinner with HAPA-GAB 2014 Outlet of the Year and Best Resto-Bar Winner, SOULed Out @ Sri Hartamas.

SOULed Out has specially crafted an exclusive menu for us to indulge in their house specialities, as well as their award-winning experience at the establishment and a range of fresh GAB brews.

SOULed Out’s Chicken and Beef Satay

Before hitting dinner, we had SOULed Out Chicken and Beef Satay to pair with our drinks. I enjoyed the satays as both the chicken and beef were not only looking good but tasted good too. Sweet, tender, juicy and succulent and the satay sauce is the killer!

We were each presented with 5 course meal served on a wooden board. It was too pretty to dig in. The wooden board features SO Lip Smacking Food which showcases an eclectic range of favourites from 4 kitchens, namely Western, Asian, Northern Indian and SO Pizza. Pairing the SO Lip Smacking Food with SO Thirst Quenching Drinks, such combination can never go wrong, except overeating only.

Summertime Salad (Western) – full portion

Grilled seafood, orange segments, alfafa sprouts drizzled with homemade vinaigrette.

Fanny enjoying her Summertime Salad. The salad is really delicious. Each grilled seafood cooked to perfection and very appetizing with the homemade vinaigrette. So, it’s not surprising to finish the full portion all by yourself 😀

Chicken Cordon Blurr (Western) – individual portion

Boneless whole chicken leg wrapped around sausage, cheese and chicken ham with cold vegetables on mayo and golden fries.

Fried Beef Noodles (Asian) – full portion

Flat rice noodles in delicious eggy gravy with generous serving of beef slices and garnished with spring onions and ginger.

Chicken Makanwala (Northern Indian) – full portion

Tikka chicken stewed in spicy onion gravy. My favourite among all the dishes. Perfectly done and simply appetizing!

Sizzling Lamb Cutlets (Northern Indian) – individual portion

Lamb cutlets marinated in special Indian herbs, served on a sizzling plate.

Sake San Pizza (Western & Jap infused) – per slice

Salmon silvers, roe, cherry tomatoes, Japanese mayo, lollo rosso (lettuce) and a hint of wasabi.

Warm, moist chocolate cake in praline sauce and cashew nuts, served with a scoop of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice-cream. I could finish this all by myself. Simply irresistible. One of the best lava chocolate cake I’ve ever had in KL. Perfectly done and loving it.


The SO Gaya Dancers, made up entirely of staff from the floor, kitchen and bar wiggle and boogie to entertain patrons every night at 10pm. Service with SOUL coupled with a warm and relaxed ambience are the traits which have made SOULed OUT a cherished venue for a throng of customers.

With the current football fever season, SOULed Out is yet another ideal hangout spot to catch up with friends while catching the game, even the 6am match!! SOULed Out is not only for the food and drinks but also the perfect place for friends and family to foster the spirit of friendship and camaraderie.
