18.05.2014 – Day 8 is also the first day for Week 2 Eat Clean Challenge and I only managed Breakfast and Snack. My landlady made this amazing Seafood Porridge for lunch. Considered it as eat clean meal as it is a clear seafood soup of fish and clams with porridge in it. Simple yet amazingly delicious! Will try to remake it someday. Of course, I’ll share the seafood porridge recipe here when I make it 🙂
#Day 8 Eat Clean Breakfast: Banana-Berries Yogurt Smoothie
For breakfast, I made this quick and easy banana-berries yogurt smoothies. It is really delicious and good for the body.
BANANA-BERRIES YOGURT SMOOTHIE
1 banana, frozen
½ handful blueberries, frozen
4 strawberries, frozen
1 cup Greek yogurt (or plain yogurt)
1 cup low fat milk
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and puree until smooth (about 1 minute).
#Day 8 Eat Clean Snack: 5 Large Strawberries
For afternoon snack, I enjoyed 5 large sweet and juicy strawberries. It lasted till dinner, in which I had some homecook meal by the sweet couple again :3
