Coffea Coffee is located along Jalan Telawi 2 (just a few doors away from Antipodean) and it is usually spotted to be packed with crowds even till late night. Curious to what draws the crowd, we got ourselves a table and ordered our drinks.
During our visit, we learnt that Coffea Coffee is a franchise from Korea. So, that sort of sum up the Korean-like concept and interior. And since that day, we have been coming back just to try their other range of drinks and also suggested the place whenever we meet up with friends. Although I find the coffee too mild for my liking, we still come back because for a cafe, they open till late. Not many café practices this long operating hour. After a few visits, I’ve compiled the pichas for a post here.
Impressive menu with wide selections of drinks from coffee to organic tea to ice blended and even smoothies. They also serve food but very limited items on their menu. At least they serve cookies, cakes and some savouries.
Coffea Coffee uses beans from Brazil, Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Colombia & Costa Rica. Coffea Coffea has their own signature blends – Maestro and Madonna. Maestro is a full-bodied and has a chocolatey-end taste, whereas the Madonna is more to fruity and sweet.
On our first visit, I had their signature blend of Maestro Cafe Latte and Bok had the Single Origin Columbian Coffee. Both of them tasted really mild but the coffee art on the latte was impressive.
Maestro Cafe Latte @ RM10
My latte tasted really mild and the coffee taste was overpowered by the milk. So, I can’t say whether there’s a tinge of chocolatey-end taste. Probably I should had asked for an extra shot for a better kick.
Iced Black Coffee
Peanut Butter Latte @ RM12
On another note, the Peanut Butter Latte is worthwhile and those who love peanut butter would enjoy this much. It’s sweet and smells lovely of peanut butter.
Belgian Cacao Triple Mocha @ RM12
This is one effing sweet mamamia mocha! LOL.. It’s more like rich hot chocolate than mocha. It’s absolutely for the sweet tooth. The chocolate is so rich ahhhh…
Mocha Coolies (Ice Blended)
This is an ideal place for meet ups over a cup of coffee or just a cuppa. They have wide selections of drinks from caffeine to non-caffeine. For me, I find their coffee too mild for my liking BUT for those who prefer less strong coffee taste and great ambiance, this is the place for you.
