What makes Bloom The Floral Shop different from other florist is that it is French oriented and more to boutique concept. Apart from flowers and gift baskets, they also offer variety of salable vintage decorations made from recycle wood, and also color plague (Painted poster using USA’s lamination technology).

Fresh flowers are supplied by both local and imported from overseas. For special flowers such as seasonal flowers can be requested and availability depends on the suppliers. Flower arrangements from standardized to customized settings based on customers’ requests and tastes.

Cute fluffy teddy bears in different sizes can be added to give the gifts an extra touch and personality.

Some very sleepy mornings, I would drop by Coffee Bean to grab a cup of coffee to go. Many months ago, I was at Coffee Bean. While waiting for my coffee to be ready, I saw this big fishbowl by the counter. It’s a drop-your-namecard for the monthly lucky draw and Win The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf RM50 cash voucher. It looks promising and seems to be an easy win since there were not many name cards in it. So, I dropped my name card into the fishbowl, complete with my email and I.C. number.

Sometime in August, I received an email from my colleagues from the other department, Congratulating me. I had no idea what it was all about until they told me that I won the lucky draw from Coffee Been. They stumble upon Coffee Bean’s site and saw my name in the July’s lucky draw namelist while doing some  research.

Someone please tell me if the above is the list of names who won the lucky draw OR list of names valid for the lucky draw.

Since the title of the “banner”/”poster” stated July winners, so I ASSUME it’s the list of names who won the lucky draw.

Initially, they would email the winners but I didn’t received any. So, I emailed them and waited and waited, but NO REPLY after many weeks.

When I went to  Coffeebean for coffee, I asked about the lucky draw and how the winners will be informed – they replied EMAIL. So, I told them about my situation and they were “stoned” for a moment. They asked for my number and said that they will check on it for me.

I waited for days and weeks again, yet to no avail.

Long story short, I still haven’t got my lucky prize from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Anyway, I’m going to Coffee Bean for lunch now. After waiting for months, they either forgotten about it or never checked on it. Either way, I’m going with thick skin to ask on the progress of my “lost” prize.

I’m not trying to be a despo here okay.. Since they announced and published the names of the winners on their site (which cannot be found from the Internet anymore), I have the right to claim for it, right?

They should at least email or contact in anyway to keep people from waiting and scratch head and perasan and shiok sendiri here. At least some information on how we could redeem the voucher OR where to print it or something. Right right right?? What sort of impression are they giving har har har?? At least inform people mah..

Well, about the Miss Photogenic FB. It is organised by Mick Long Photography. The girls are selected based on the votes they get. The voting system is based on the “Likes” she gets for the picha in Facebook.

In this second photoshoot with the TOP 5 Miss Photogenic 2009 Season 1,  we were fortunate to be there to witness the process and also at the same time berkelehfei. In this round, 5 girls will be competing for the Top 3 and it’s not 100% “Like” based anymore.

To make things more interesting, there were invited guests and photographers to join in the judging fun by giving points to the girls. Points were given according to their Confidence, Eye contact with photographer, Pose, and Outlook/Appearance.

The points they got from the judges were then combined with the “Like” they get online via FB. The TOP 3 scorers will then have a private photoshoot session with Mick the man himself.

As usual, I can’t help but not to monkey around – camwhore and kelehfei a bit. Also, the weather was effing hot!! We had our special drinks to cool us down.

Actually, Ting pushed TMOT’s head towards Yien’s plate of fried noodles. You can’t see the noodle  from the previous shot because of the angle, hence, TMOT’s action looks pretty wrong there.
