Last Saturday, there was a gathering at Kaya & Toast, Petanak, among the bloggers with Slap! - Rambo and Leslie, Dream Machine - Ah Haw, and Channel 1 - Pazuzu. The gathering was sponsored by Slap! and Dream Machine. It was an introductory session to us bloggers about the The Rock Party 2007 and to help spread the words on the event.

This is the first time, all the Chinese local bands get together and perform. This great new event will be held at Fever Bar and Club on 8th December 2007, this Saturday. The performance will start at 7 pm until 12 midnight. There will be 8 bands (Channel 1, Visualies, Slap!, Dream Machine, UglyMen, Spider Web, Dyerbreed and Chao) performing on that night and each band will perform for 30 minutes. Tickets are priced at RM10 and it comes in a mini booklet. The front page will be the entrance pass and the inside are the details and information about the event, bands and advertisements.

Notice the tree on the poster? It has a meaning here. The introduction page of the booklet explains the tree story. By the way, it’s in Chinese and since Jimmy was sitting beside me, so, “explain him to explain to me”. Kekeke…

Gladys brought Xiao Huang to the gathering. *^.^* My Laling was there. Camwhored a lot with him. Rambo was amazed with Xiao Huang, played with him and was stunned when Gladys told him of Xiao Huang’s value.

Kaya & Toast decorated their shop with a small Christmas tree with some *ahem* presents below the tree. They hung Christmas socks along the counter. Jingy Jingy Bells~~ Lalala… Xmas is 22 days away~~

A week ago, the Skypers’ Gang had a small bbq gathering at Angel’s house. The BBQers were Angel, Uncle Jong (Angel’s bro), Justin (Uncle Jong’s friend), Jimmy, Gladiezz, Anna, Eve, Tim, Ting and Pazuzu.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Allen, Frankie, JF, Rose and Paul couldn’t join us. *pai seh Rose*

Angel prepared some chicken wings, drinks, and the bbq pit. Jimmy went earlier than all of us *ahem*

He helped to bring up the heat for the bbq.

Gladys and I came a little later. We got ermm lost. haha.. My bad, bad memory of mine. We went with the -tatoes; potatoes and sweet potatoes. Jimmy brought sausages. While waiting for the rest, we started to bbq the chicken wings and sausages.

One thing about bbq is that food is cooked very slowly. Uncle Jong and his friend, Justin, kept coming over asking if the food is ready. Sabar boys sabar..

This look somewhat familiar isn’t it? Kekeke.. Looks like the sausages from an old old post of mine. Gladys made them. She asked Angel for some cheese and went busy with them (sausages and cheese). Jeng jeng jeng…

Among the BBQ chef of the night: Angel - patient, Anna - drop chicken wings, Chef Tim - pro BBQer (no minyak how to cook), Eve - loves the sweet potatoes, Pazuzu - helps to fan

I sat with Uncle Jong and Justin. They were telling me jokes and I was laughing at them, when I told them mine, they were clueless. Age gap I suppose or maybe it’s because it’s hard for people to understand what I’m trying to say.

The bbq ended at about 10.30pm. We helped Angel to clean up and went to the living room to chit chat, watch tv, survey Angel’s room, transfer pictures on her computer and etc. We left early (before 11pm) as everyone has to work the next day and it wasn’t nice to stay too late at people’s house too. =)

Angel, thank you for having us over at your place. We’re not only bising bising in Skype but also at your place. Hope your mum don’t mind the bisingness. Kekekeke…

Mikel of Splashmilk.com was in Kuching for the weekend. He reached Kuching on Saturday night and we met up on Sunday afternoon at King’s Centre’s Iglool. It was Splashmilk’s first time in Iglool, so, must make him try the best seller here, the Green Tea Ice with Fresh Egg Yolk. BUT HORR, the Green Tea out of stock AGAIN! Everytime I go to Iglool, always don’t have Green Tea. 10 times 10 times go, 10 times 10 times don’t have. Cis..

So, Mikel had this Peanut Ice with Chocolate + Fresh Egg Yolk @ RM5.30 (fresh egg yolk an extra topping RM0.50)

The waiter said that you must first poke the egg yolk and then cover it with the ice. So, Mikel went poke poke, cover cover cover..

Most importantly, THOU SHALT NOT STIR THE SNOW ICE!! The waiter kept reminding us not to stir the ice when eating. The waiter is so so so SOFT SPOKEN! Aiyoyo.. Need to enlarge our ears and zoom zoom to him to catch what he is trying to say.

benben came awhile after us, order later than us, got his Longkang Q Fruit Snow Ice with Red Bean @ RM5.30 (RM4.80 + RM0.50) first. Piff.. Not fair.. The Q Fruit is actually jelly but benben calls it the algae from the drain. *faints* The Q Fruit Snow Ice is only milk snow ice with longkang algae Q Fruit - grape flavoured jelly, I think it’s konyakku jelly because it’s chewy. benben ordered extra topping - Red Bean for RM0.50.

My all time favourite, Peanut Ice with Chocolate. It is peanut flavoured snow ice with chocolate syrup and chocolate chips toppings. Sensational~

Gladiezz had Oreo Peanut Snow Ice @ RM5.00. Pretending to take a picture of it while she was busy chit chatting with Mikel, I quietly changed her snow ice with mine.. I intended to exchange our snow ice because her oreo looks so nice!!

Sibeh tam chiak.. T.T Don’t want to let me have the oreo… XDDD

In the end, I had one SMALL spoon of OREO..

We were sitting at the Kid’s Corner and the seats were small little cute white and blue chairs with big penguin table. When our seats were getting warmer, T-Mo-T and Ting arrived. They shared one snow ice, chit chat awhile and they left for late lunch at the nearby coffeeshop.

Tsk tsk tsk.. Macam budak kecik (just like small kid). XDDD

I went into the Iglool too. benben faster feed me, feed me~!! Gladiezz brought RM1.99 Haw Flakes and we finished the whole packet on the spot. Tsk tsk tsk.. Tam chiak people..

Then benben went over to the wall to pose with the kids on the wall. Tsk tsk tsk..

While benben busy posing with haw flake, Mikel took pictures of Gladiezz with his extra extra Mega camera for his portfolio.
