Also, today is the day I get to press that “reset” button back to Day 1 for Project 365. Welcoming the new Project 365 FY 2012-13. (Hopefully this time I can fully document my 365 days).

Being quarter century old does make me feel old, in the way of thinking not in looks laa.. I noticed that my way of thinking has grown up. “When I grow up, I want to be a millionaire.” That was then. Today, it’s not so much in monetary terms, but in more subjective terms. Of course I want to make lots and lots of money, but first, I want to achieve my goals in life within this 2 years, then, pursue my career to a self-satisfactory position – Top Management (I have high ambition one laa..but my very first ambition was to take over the world). But, that is for time and opportunities to come. PIFF..

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes via SMS, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Plurk, etc.. I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for always visiting my blog. Your comments and feedback are the motivation and reason why this blog is still actively updated (although not daily).

This is my very first time celebrating birthday alone, away from home and no nice dinner on the big day SoSadCan?

Secondly, to make my birthday present shelf (as seen above) not look so sad with just one present, I bought myself a…..

…PC Tab called Light by ZTE. Nobody knows what ZTE brand is unless you’ve been to China or from China.

The unit is from China. Everything is made in China these days. China is like the mother of all electronic components! The memory card is also from china. And heck, the screen protector is also made in China.

It looked like Samsung Galaxy Tab, well, more like it looked exactly like it! Teeheee.. Bought it at half the price of  the Galaxy. Furthermore, it runs under Android OS. So, how can anyone tell the difference with the casing on? Love China for this.

Angry Birds - My current addiction

Anyway, it’s a good buy. Although in the first place, I wanted to buy myself a new camera (Lumix LX 5) but I spent the money for this PC Tab. I’m so very indecisive lah.. I told myself, just get the tab first, when I have enough money, then, I’ll get the camera (by then, the LX 5 price will surely drop already right right right?)

Now to end this fantastic post, I’d like to announce the rebirth of my Project 365. teehee.. The first Project 365 was launched 2 birthdays ago and completed it’s first cycle and didn’t continue in 2010. Heeheehee.. So and therefore, I created a subdomain mainly just for my Project 365 and WILL try my best to update it daily. ahbenben was back in Kuching since CNY and we only hanged out after we “discovered” that he was still in Kuching for weeks already. LOL!!

The night before benben left for OZ, which was like 10 days ago, ahlost, yienyien, JF, Stevo and I planned to have yumcha session at Grand Margherita after our work out at Level Up Fitness.

While waiting for ahlost and JF to arrive, Yien, Steve and I went to check out the lounge, and the Wine & Cheese buffet poster (which was ongoing in March 2010 only).

Our initial plan was to try out the newly renovated coffee house. Well, the coffee house isn’t very coffee house-like, as it shares the ala carte menu and buffet there. So, it was not an ideal yumcha spot for us.

We left the premise and stopped by McDonald’s for “dinner” (according to the clock, it should be supper). So much for our blood sweating work out. *mehhh*

Benben met up with us at McDo after his dinner and we changed venue for our yumcha session at Caffe Cino, Hilton.  It was supposed to be a farewell yumcha session, but ended up as a surprise advanced birthday celebration for yours truly.

Long story cut short, they got me a birthday cake from Caffe Cino:

Benben blew the candle

This is damn funny! They asked me to make a wish. So, as I was making a wish, someone was breathing heavily or so, or that he was trying to blow the candle from the couch thinking that the blow won’t be so powerful to kill the fire on the candle. Anyway, he blew the candle. :L

After our horsing laugh at his unintentional act, they lit the candle again, this time, I blew the candle :3

The black forest cake is superb! It consist of three layers of cake and mousse.  Topped with fresh cream (notfatteningnotfatteningnotfattening). The chocolate wrapping around the cake is actually dark chocolate! Damn nais can! And oh my lovely fav cherries <3 there were so many of them on the cake <3<3<3

Last week we celebrated Ting’s birthday at Planet Sambal. More like a supper gathering and countdown to her birthday.

I had the Nasi Lemak Biasa and Ice Nescafe. The nasi lemak’s sambal is spicy! Yum Yum.. But the papadham, after awhile, it’s not crispy anymore. It gets sogy so fast.

Everyone turned up for the gathering. Among them were:

Pazuzu (Alvin), Frankie, Evey, Edwin, and Darrel

Gladys, ahlost, Yien, Steve, TMOT and Gordon

Not in the above pichas are ME (behind the camera), JF (busy taking picha somewhere), Pui Joo and CKY (they left early).

Everyone acted normal like it was our usual gathering. When the clock strikes 11.55pm, Yien and I went to the back to get the cake ready.

The boss was kind enough to participate in our little surprise. When the candles were lit, they switched off the lights and we brought in the cake and everyone sang the birthday song.

She was surprised and from the picha, you can tell how happy she was. Teeeheee.. Keep that happy face!

Then, came the camwhores. Everyone wanted to take picha with the birthday girl, including me. See how “desperate” I am to get into the picha:
