Over the weekend, I was found standing in front of a costume shop’s entrance with its grilled locked and staring at the bulletin board at 9.58am. Wanted to be the first person to collect my costume for my company’s dinner but the shop only opens at 11am. #kiasu So, not wanting to waste that one hour by doing nothing, I waltz myself to the new cafe, Café Olle, a new coffee place in Desa Sri Hartamas operated by Koreans.
They open at 10am and I was their first customer #feelsomuchwin. They were prepping the place up while I walk in and stood in front of the counter ready to make my order. And because they just opened their doors, the coffee machines weren’t warmed up yet and I was told that I need to wait for 10 minutes.
“Sorry… We just open. Our machine’s not warmed up yet. Need to wait 10 minutes.” Ok la. Take my money and gimme my coffee in 10.
A shot of espresso is from RM6 and that’s the same for Americano. Coffee drinks (flat white, latte and such) are from RM10. Price wise, pretty average compared to other gourmet cafe. They roast their own beans and they have quite a variety of beans.
There’s free WiFi and currently this is the password. You’re welcome. Leech on!
They have cakes too and they also serve pretty decent and dem good smelling food! Saw a table having pasta and sandwiches.
Lovely place with nice ambiance and pretty spacious too. A great place to chill out with a cuppa. Their coffee is pretty fragrant and so far no tax n service charges imposed yet.
Flat White @ RM10
Totally worth that 10 minutes wait. For a cup of Korean coffee, this one packs with a pleasant balance of both the aroma and taste. Velvety top and bold coffee taste! Pretty much reminds me of my cuppa in Seoul last year and comes with a pretty coffee art too..
Will definitely come back again to try their food and of course for their coffee.
