Blue Reef Fish & Chips @ Straits Quay, Penang
During my Hennessy Artistry trip in Penang few weekends ago, we spent most of our time at Penang’s first seafront retail marina, Straits Quay, Seri Tanjung Pinang. It’s the newest and must visit destination in Penang.
Upon arrival, we headed to Straits Quay for lunch at Blue Reef Fish & Chips. The restaurant serves fish, fish and lotsa fish. There’s grilled, fried, and poached fish just for your liking.

Baby Romaine & Mixed Nuts Salad
For starter, shared this salad with Yomi. Crispy fresh lettuce with mixed nuts and balsamic dressing is refreshingly yums!
Grilled Salmon & Seafood Platter
For our mains, we ordered this Grilled Salmon and Seafood Platter. It’s definitely a must have here. A piece of 200gm grilled salmon with a seafood goodness of yummy cheese baked oysters, calamari, prawns and veggies.
Grilled Halibut & Seafood Platter
There are selection of fishes to go with the seafood platter. This one is the Grilled Halibut.
Nonetheless, the Beer Batter Fish & Chips is their signature dish and also a must have!
No desserts as we were rushing for the next event after lunch. However, I manage to capture some pichas of the pier. Oh, what a lovely sight! Gives the feel that we’re in Australia.
