Advanced Birthday Surprise

ahbenben was back in Kuching since CNY and we only hanged out after we “discovered” that he was still in Kuching for weeks already. LOL!!

Sorry ya benben! Thought you went back to OZ after CNY.

The night before benben left for OZ, which was like 10 days ago, ahlost, yienyien, JF, Stevo and I planned to have yumcha session at Grand Margherita after our work out at Level Up Fitness.

While waiting for ahlost and JF to arrive, Yien, Steve and I went to check out the lounge, and the Wine & Cheese buffet poster (which was ongoing in March 2010 only).

Our initial plan was to try out the newly renovated coffee house. Well, the coffee house isn’t very coffee house-like, as it shares the ala carte menu and buffet there. So, it was not an ideal yumcha spot for us.

We left the premise and stopped by McDonald’s for “dinner” (according to the clock, it should be supper). So much for our blood sweating work out. *mehhh*

McValue Meal - Filet-O-Fish & Ice-Cream Sundae

Couldn’t resist not ordering the Chocolate Sundae as it was at half price with any purchase of McValue Meal. Y__________Y

Benben met up with us at McDo after his dinner and we changed venue for our yumcha session at Caffe Cino, Hilton.  It was supposed to be a farewell yumcha session, but ended up as a surprise advanced birthday celebration for yours truly.

Their attempt to surprise me with a birthday cake from Caffe Cino failed because the staff there were total noobs. LOL

Long story cut short, they got me a birthday cake from Caffe Cino:

Benben blew the candle

This is damn funny! They asked me to make a wish. So, as I was making a wish, someone was breathing heavily or so, or that he was trying to blow the candle from the couch thinking that the blow won’t be so powerful to kill the fire on the candle. Anyway, he blew the candle. :L

After our horsing laugh at his unintentional act, they lit the candle again, this time, I blew the candle :3

The black forest cake is superb! It consist of three layers of cake and mousse.  Topped with fresh cream (notfatteningnotfatteningnotfattening). The chocolate wrapping around the cake is actually dark chocolate! Damn nais can! And oh my lovely fav cherries <3 there were so many of them on the cake <3<3<3
